No more than 1 legal turkey may be taken per day, no more than 1 legal turkey may be taken during the first 7 days of the season, no more than 1 legal turkey may be taken during the youth turkey hunt, and no more than 2 legal turkeys may be taken in any combination of turkey zones. Nonresident (adults and youth) may take no more than 1 legal turkey. No jakes (sub-adult male turkeys) may be taken, except youth, including nonresident youth, hunters may harvest 1 jake.
WILD TURKEY FIREARMS AND ARCHERY/CROSSBOW SEASONS:
Zone 3: Monday closest to April 3 for 21 days.
Zone 2: Monday closest to April 10 for 21 days.
Zone 2A: Monday closest to April 10 for 9 days.
Zone 1: Monday closest to April 17 for 21 days.
Zone 1A: Monday closest to April 17 for 9 days.
EXCEPTIONS:
SPECIAL YOUTH TURKEY SEASON:
Zones 1, 1A, 2, and 2A: Saturday and Sunday prior to the Monday closest to April 10.
LIMIT:
Zone 1A and 2A: 1 adult gobbler.
Zone 1, 2, and 3: 2 adult gobblers.
Special Youth Turkey Season: 1 legal turkey. Youth hunters, including nonresident youth, may only take 1 jake.
Firearms and Archery/Crossbow: Statewide seasonal limit of 2 legal gobblers with nonresident youth restricted to a seasonal limit of 1 legal gobbler.
Youth hunters, including nonresident youth, may take only 1 jake and no more than the statewide season limit in combination during the youth hunt and wild turkey firearms and archery/crossbow seasons (Addenda A1.02, C1.04).
