It is unlawful to hunt wildlife during a permit hunt on any WMA without first obtaining a permit. All seasons not named on the permit are closed during permit hunts on WMAs.
EXCEPTIONS:
- Waterfowl may be hunted during waterfowl seasons.
- Other hunting seasons remain open during permit hunts on DeGray Lakeand Rick Evans Grandview Prairie WMAs for hunting without a permit.
- This regulation does not apply on Gene Rush and Buffalo National River WMAs.
- Squirrel, Rabbit, Furbearer, Crow, Quail and Dove hunting is allowed (shotgun only; non-toxic shot) on Maumelle River WMA west of the Arkansas Highway 10 bridge during the permit deer hunts without a permit.
PENALTY: Class 1
